I am excited I get to wear my sneakers to work today. The scrubs I chose are so bright and cheery and I love the fact that I have no “What Not to Wear” decisions to make today.
When I come downstairs to make breakfast for my boys, they don’t even notice that I am wearing scrubs! They continue to crunch away at their cereal until I finally announce that I am going to the office in SCRUBS! “Oh, cool…where’s your stethoscope?” my oldest asked. The others just smiled like it was no big deal. Well, wearing scrubs feels like a big deal to me. I feel so fresh and bouncy, kind of like I am heading to the gym instead.
When I get to work, I walk through the Admin department before I reach the Web Department. The staff is jealous that they don’t get to wear scrubs too. I just want to find Rachel to see if she is dressed in her uniform like she promised. We see each other and laugh, she says I look like a dental hygenist. I like the color blue that she chose for her scrubs test drive.
I settle in at my desk and find myself very comfortable. Although, I have a hard time staying seated because I feel like I am dressed to MOVE. The scrubs pants are so cozy, but the sleeve on my scrub top is bugging me a bit. I am the kind of person 
that has to wear either long or short sleeves. The sleeves on my designer scrubs are an elbow length so I am sensitive to the rubbing along my forearm. Hey, that’s fashion for you…I always make the most stylish choice rather than the most comfortable. I’m a slave to fashion even in my scrubs.
I made it through various meetings throughout the day feeling much more free spirited than I am used to. It must be the sneakers…it’s kind of like “jean day”. At one point, Rachel shot a picture of me standing at the vending machine. I think the roominess of my scrubs made me feel like I could indulge more than I normally would –LOL!
Overall my day wearing scrubs was uneventful. I went about my usual work, drafting emails and looking at reports. Today I felt like I was dressed for more action. Our customers (yes, you!) need to be comfortable and suited up to care for patients. It was good to experience that the scrubs we sell, are ready for you. Have you test driven new scrubs lately? We have had some complaints at work about the short scrub tops being too revealing when the person bends over. I have the same urbane scrubs outfit as one of your testers and the sleeves are annoying and the top goes up when you sit so you always feel that you have to pull at it and it has a pathetic sized pocket.They do look nice though.

I personally enjoy Baby Phat, Cherokee and Landau for larger sizes. I'm really hard to fit, and have had a lot of luck with these brands. Plus, I feel that they have some stylish options too. I'm also finding that wearing a cute longish tee (you could do solid, but I prefer a fun pattern) under my scrub makes me more comfortable and takes care of length issues too.

I have had the urban scrub pants and I feel the tie hole openings are too far apart. When I would tie the pants I would get a "baggy" front only where the tie is.

I love the urbane scrubs. the plain crossover top is great! As for the one with the double crossover, not so great! The pockets are so small and pins seem to fall out!

I love your scrubs. But, you need more of a selection in 5x. Many Nurses are heavy and want to look great too. I love the Dickies W line, but it needs variety. I would Love to see a line like Urban Scrubs in 5x. and even the entire Dickies W line in 5x. thanks

And us Tall nurses! Plus- most hospital nurses need a bit more length on the tops- many of the newer brands crop them too short and the first time you bend forward, everything falls out of those little pockets.

I personally love the selection that I find in the tall sizes with Lydia! Lydias is the ONLY place that I can count on finding tall sizing for more than just a simple one single style. Thank you very much and keep ordering the tall styles for us please....

I soooo agree with Khristie. Everyone seems to forget us tall people, especially when it comes to scrub tops. They all seem to short, so I end up wearing a scrub jacket over a white t-shirt instead. Also, I feel I have "not so pretty" upper arms, and there are really no 3/4 length sleeved tops to choose from :(

ok, I love the styling of Urbane, but seriously, ONE pocket? Maybe that will work for nurses in offices, but for us in the hospital, it just won't cut it, and I'm not one to wear the cargo pants and have by thighs bulging with all the supplies I keep in my scrub top pockets.
