Each fall and spring semester Lydia’s Uniforms awards two nursing students with $2500 scholarships in honor of their achievements. Recipients of the nursing scholarship must meet certain qualifications and are required to fill out an application and submit a short essay to apply.
Nicole Brainard and Gina Ryan were recently awarded this semester’s scholarships.
Nicole is a student at Oregon Health and Science University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. Nicole has plans to become a Registered Nurse and eventually work in the administration of her tribe’s health clinic or hospital. Read more about Nicole here.
Gina is attending the University of Oklahoma Health and Science Center. She is currently earning her license as a Registered Nurse. After earning her license Gina would like to work in Hospice and eventually open her own assisted living/ hospice facility. Read more about Gina here.
